Google Analytics (with anonymization function)
The Website uses the Google Analytics service (with the anonymization function) to measure its traffic.
Google Analytics is the most popular traffic measurement service, which relies on the use of cookies. The service concerns the collection and analysis of data about the behavior of visitors to the Website, such as the IP address, the source of origin and which sub-pages visited.
The purpose of using the Google Analytics service is to process anonymous data in order to optimize the Website, such as which page should be improved and in what way to make it more user-friendly, but also to carry out a cost / benefit analysis for the display of advertisements. The duration of these cookies is as follows: _ga cookie: 2 years, _gat cookie: 1 minute, _gid cookie: 1 day.
The creator and operator of the Google Analytics service is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043-1351, United States.
As part of the Google Analytics service, the Website uses the “Anonymize IP” feature provided by Google Analytics. With this application, your IP address is limited by Google and anonymized when you access the Website.
In order to have access to the dat a concerning the traffic of the Website, we allow Google Analytics to place a cookie on the hard drive of the visitor’s computer or other electronic device. Every time you visit a different page within the Website, the browser you use submits data to the Google Analytics platform in an automatic, encrypted and anonymized way.
The cookie is used to store certain information, such as the time of access, the location from which the access was made and the frequency of visits to the Website by the visitor. With each visit to the Website, data such as your IP address is transmitted to a Google server in the United States of America. More information on Google’s data processing policy can be found here Google privacy policy and on the use of cookies in the context of the Analytics service here. https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/us.html

The Meta Pixel
The website uses the Meta pixel, a service of Facebook Inc. (1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA). This is a Javascript code that we have integrated into the Website.
This script provides several functions in order to send specific data about a visitor’s actions to Facebook. We use this service to record information about how visitors use the website.
This pixel records and provides Facebook with information about the user’s browser setting, a hashed version of the Facebook ID and the URL you are visiting. That way each Facebook user obtains a unique Facebook identifier (ID) regardless of the device used, through which it is possible to retarget our visitors for advertising purposes via Facebook ads.
This information is kept for a maximum period of 180 days. After this period the information is deleted until the visitor re-visits our website again. Facebook may identify individual visitors to the Website and their individual details, as long as they are members of the Website and are logged in during their browsing. We are not in a position to know exactly what information or how it is received from Facebook. You can set your preferences regarding Facebook ads here https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/?entry_product=ad_settings_screen and learn more about its data protection policy here https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/
